Why Document & Preserve Your Life Stories?

To Recollect & Reflect. Documenting and preserving your personal history and life stories requires planning and research that often enhances your memories and clarifies how you have become who you are, why you value what you value, and who are (and were) the most influential people in your life.

To Become Inspired. Documenting and preserving your personal reflections and life stories often helps to identify regrets and opportunities that you can use to influence the remaining course of your life.

To Be Considerate. Most people participate in estate planning to transfer land and real estate, investments, collectibles, and furnishings. Many also leave physical and intangible assets, including personal belongings, photographs, diaries, journals, audio and video recordings of significant events and memorable experiences.

To Be Remembered. Some loved ones will miss you dearly once you are gone, and your personal reflections and life stories will comfort them and possibly help them realize some of their own life stories.

To Help Educate. Future generations who did not know you might become curious about their lineage and find your personal reflections and life stories enlightening to their heritage and their own reflections and life stories.

As a Personal Historian, I record interviews to document and preserve the significant events and memorable experiences of your life. I can then produce Oral Histories and/or Video Documentaries to be shared publicly or exclusively with family, friends and future generations.
