The Third Gender (2013) is a short, artistic documentary in production by Vivienne Chen. The film chronicles the personal narratives of gay and transgender/gender non-conforming individuals in Thailand, including performers, sex workers, and activists. It takes an intimate approach to understanding the gender fluidity and sexuality of Southeast Asia./nVivienne is a Princeton University student, journalist, freelance writer, and amateur filmmaker.
