Student Events Eligible/nThe TapCats were created in 2003 by Tudor Dimofte '04 as an outlet for tap dancers at Princeton. The next year, under the direction of President/Pharoah Tudor and Artistic Director Jess Stahl '06, we put together our first show. All our hard work paid off; "Journey" ran in Theatre Intime to sold out crowds and rave reviews.
The TapCats are committed to creating an inclusive and fun atmosphere that invites everyone to participate, regardless of ability. Our performance group welcomes more experienced tappers, and practices a few times a week to prepare for January's show. We also offer beginner classes for those who have never tapped before or are less experienced. Classes meet once a week, and beginners are given the opportunity to perform a number in the show. We also have a bunch of fun social events (sometimes tap-related, sometimes not so much) throughout the year./nWhether you are ready for Broadway or have never picked up a pair of tap shoes, we encourage you to join our exciting, fun family!!!
