The college counseling office brought in 11 admissions officers from colleges and universities to perform an interactive exercise that brought the students deep inside the admissions process. Students were split into groups of 15, and with their assigned admissions officer, broke down the applications of four fictional students to see who should be accepted, denied or waitlisted at the fictional Good College. In discussing the four applications, students were able to see how admissions officers analyze applicants to see who would be a fit for their respective institutions, and learned many nuances and details of the college admissions process.
