Physical Fitness is an important part of police work and your own personal health. Being prepared for the physical fitness test is the candidates responsibility, The fitness test consists of a 1.5 mile run which must be completed in 14':40" or less, a minimum of 28 push ups in one minute and a minimum of 28 sit ups in 1 minute. Registration for the upcoming Princeton Police Officer hiring process ends at 11:59 PM on August 31, 2018 Register today at www.policeapp.com/princetonnj PoliceApp.com has all the information you need to register for the exam and there are also study guides available as well. Candidates who successfully pass a written test will be subject to a physical fitness test. Selected candidates will also undergo a series of interviews and an intensive background investigation. The written entrance examination will be administered by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police. The exam will take place on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 5:30pm at The Patriot's Theater at the Trenton War Memorial, 1 Memorial Drive, Trenton NJ 08608.
