NJ Spotlight News New Jersey is known as the Crossroads of the American Revolution, and in the nation's 250th year, travel host Darley Newman is showing that residents don't have to go far to see where and how the country began.
Newman, host of the PBS series "Travels with Darley," has spent years filming at Revolutionary sites across the original colonies. That work turned into a new book, "Revolutionary Road Trip: Hidden Stories of America's Founding Journey," and a series of episodes on the same theme, several of which are filmed in the Garden State.
