www.mccarter.org...A regular visitor to McCarter since 1987, Mark Morris remains (with Twyla Tharp) the only American choreographer of his generation to have extended the expressive scope of dance as an art form. Since 1980, he has created over 130 works for his company, including the full-length L’Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato, which ranks as one of the seminal dance works of the 21st century. His Princeton program will inevitably include several premieres, all performed (as always) to live music, which has become a Mark Morris trademark.
