Pennington-Ewing Athletic Club (PEAC) raised $30,000 for 2011 Dreamlift during it's Runway to Runway show in April, bringing PEAC's total fundraising efforts for the Sunshine Foundation to over $100,000.
'Together with ticket sales, silent auction and “Adopt-A-Seat,” and many generous donations, PEAC’s community raised $30,000 for the Dreamlift! We reached our goal of exceeding a total donation of $100,000 since Runway’s inception in 2008. “We called tonight a Grand Event and the community made it happen! Thank you to everyone who helped bring this event to life—we had another amazing evening and made a difference in the lives of so many deserving children,” said Laurel Reid, Chairperson of Runway to Runway at PEAC. “Somehow PEAC always manages to top themselves each year!” said Cathy DiCostanzo, Sunshine Foundation President. “It’s all thanks to members of the local community and PEAC staff donating items and volunteering their time for this wonderful cause,” added Cathy.
