This week I lost; we all lost our dear friend and incredibly famous American artist known for his bright, psychedelic pop art that defined the 1960s "flower power" counterculture, Peter Max. Although Peter was Jewish and I am Catholic, I composed HOLY LIFE as a Christian... as I believe Peter will rise into our God's Kingdom in heaven.
I composed and performed my holy tune as a way to grieve, to remember my great friend who I spent years with, who was both a heartfelt docent and caring, giving friend. Who helped me with his heart, his fame, his creativity: his blessed heart. My tears for Peter are found within the heart pf HOLY LIFE. Our collective smiles and happiness for our friend Peter is found within the magical color's psychedelic pop art of his works. God bless Peter in God's heavenly Kingdom above!
