Alyssa Lloyd '26 shares her journey of growing up in a farming town of 650 people in eastern Washington to attending Princeton where service was central to her education.

A recent graduate, Alyssa is supporting youth who are exiting foster care in Seattle as they pursue early career opportunities. She plans to develop an employment guide for young adults and staff at Friends of Youth, a nonprofit in King County, Washington. This work bridges the focus of her senior thesis, which explored how to develop an apprenticeship program for young adults aging out of the foster care system.
