ake a step back in time with a visit to Princeton Battlefield State Park.
Visitors to Princeton Battlefield are now guided through the battlefield with new interpretive panels made possible through a partnership between the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, American Battlefield Trust and the Princeton Battlefield Society.
The highlight of these new exhibits is the “battle window” near the historic Clarke House. This unique feature showcases a portion of James Peale’s famous painting depicting the pivotal events of January 3, 1777, offering visitors a vivid glimpse into the past. The original painting is housed at the Princeton University Art Museum.
Each new interpretive panel includes a QR code connected to the Victory Trail Mobile App where visitors can learn more about Princeton Battlefield State Park and the Revolutionary War.
