Video by: małaPOLSKA Kraków will always be my first Home Town, but since I have been living in Trenton NJ for very long time now, over 20 years, Trenton became my Step Home Town, I guess. On the beginning I did not like it at all. Perhaps one has to get to know it first in order to start liking it later...
Last May I flew the drone over Kraków, Poland, and I composed the film about my beloved/original home town, so I could show it to my friends in US. Now, I wanted to show my friends in Poland, how Trenton looks like. So I decided to film Trenton from air. It took over 30 take offs (mostly in 2022), some driving and a lots of walking around town. This film is a mixture of different footage taken from drone, from car, from the ground by hand with KARMA. I think only this way one can illustrate all points of view. Some places were restricted - no fly zone - like heavy security prison with death penalty, so I couldn't fly over it.
I also included in this film the events; Art All Night organized annually in an old Roebling Factory building, Art All Day organized next to ARTWORKS building and all over Old Town Trenton, Ellarslie Open organized in an original Ellarslie Mansion, Graffiti Festival organized around TerraCycle Complex and Battle of Trenton Reenactment organized annually along the original route of Washington's Army.
Perhaps this film is too long, but it also shows the Veteran Park and Grounds For Sculpture Park, church in Polish Section, Halo Farm Market, and many other interesting places I associate with Trenton - the Capitol of New Jersey.
