Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States in both men and women. As we celebrate American Heart Month, this show will focus on steps you can take to promote your heart health and reduce your risk factors and the services available to help you diagnose and treat heart disease. We will be joined by three cardiac experts from RWJBarnabas Health: Dr. Justin Fox, a board certified cardiologist and interventional cardiologist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton; Dr. Leonard Y. Lee, a cardiac valve surgeon who is chief of Surgical Services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick; and Dr. Rachana Kulkarni, a board-certified cardiologist with Medicor, a partner medical practice of RWJBarnabas Health who is on staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset.
