An all-star cast of artists debuting their roles include contralto Alison Bolshoi as Carmen, tenor Gregory Turay as Don Jose, baritone Jason Duika as Escamillo the Toreador and soprano Rachael Long as Micaela.
Flamenco dancing by the Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre and stunning virtual sets will put audiences on the edge of their seats. Staged by international director Stefanos Koroneos, the opera will be sung in French with projected English supertitles.
