At age 20, Harmony healed from her gunshot wounds, but the mental trauma, like many victims of gun violence, can carry on PTSD symptoms for many months, years, or even a lifetime if not addressed. Harmony was one of the lucky survivors, but her true healing Journey began when she joined the James R. Halsey Foundation of the Arts program. Harmony, now age 23 has created a program for other gun violence victims to heal through a program called “healing and harmonizing” with Harmony.
