After a breast cancer diagnosis in 2014, Stephanie had successful surgery at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center.

Then in 2020, after seeking care for abnormal bleeding, Stephanie was diagnosed with uterine cancer. Her OB/GYN referred her to Charlotte Marcus, MD, a gynecologic oncologist at Penn Medicine Princeton Health.

Dr. Marcus and Stephanie discussed treatment options and decided together that a full hysterectomy procedure was the best choice. Dr. Marcus performed the procedure using minimally invasive robotic surgery, which typically offers patients faster recovery and fewer complications.

Surgery removed the cancer and a year later Stephanie is still cancer-free. She says that she’s back to feeling like herself, focusing on her family, and doing the things that she enjoys.
