Compassionate Care to Help Improve Quality of Life

For patients who have been diagnosed with a serious illness, palliative care and hospice are specialized approaches to care that are focused on improving a patient’s quality of life.

Both types of care offer support for individuals and caregivers who are struggling with the difficulties of a disease or disease-directed treatments. The goal is to ensure that patients and families receive care that is aligned with their personal goals; nothing more, and nothing less.
