This is Princeton. Your home for the next four years. A time to discover who you are and the person you want to become.
For most of you this is your first time away from home, away from family. You may be nervous about fitting in or finding your place, but you are here for a reason. Before you know it, you’ll call Princeton home.
There are campus resources here for you every step of the way. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Remember you’re not in this alone. You, along with the rest of your classmates, are beginning this journey together.
Your keys to success at Princeton start with your first day of class.
Be present and participate in each class. Get to know your professors and take advantage of their office hours. They want to help and see you succeed.
Take classes outside of your interest, you never know what you will discover. Explore all the cool places to study, and most of all, never stop being curious.
Your experience doesn’t stop after class. You are going to meet many new people with different backgrounds. Learn from them and share experiences.
There are many clubs and activities to join from intramural sports and dance groups to outreach organizations and service opportunities. Take the time to learn about yourself. Princeton is the place where you can become who you want to be.
