The program is open, by application only, to some of Princeton’s brightest and most dynamic students. The eLab is based in the Princeton Entrepreneurial Hub, where, over a period of ten weeks each summer, student teams work intensively on their startup ideas and follow a specialized entrepreneurship curriculum presented to them during a 3-day intensive boot camp. The teams also attend meetings and workshops, and receive valuable mentorship and advising through a network of Keller Center faculty, staff, seasoned entrepreneurs and technology experts, all with the goal of learning how to develop their startup ideas into viable, scalable ventures. Prior to the inception of the program, teams selected for the eLab meet with a faculty member to discuss their key project milestones, deliverables, and formalized plan of action. During the summer under the tutelage of their mentors and faculty advisors, student teams work to achieve the milestones. At closure of the summer program, the students participate in Demo Day, where they share their plans with investors, inventors, experts and others from the entrepreneurial community.
