Hundreds of people took to the streets of Princeton, New Jersey, on Saturday to protest against a march planned by a white supremacist group which failed to materialise. Protesters carrying signs with anti-racist and anti-fascist messages marched around downtown Princeton and listened to speeches while police observed. The white supremacist group known as the European Heritage Association had reportedly placed posters throughout the city announcing an 'It's okay to be white march' on Saturday. After local police clarified that any such action would require a permit, the group posted on social media claiming the march was a publicity stunt which was never going to take place.
