Over the years, the Princeton Police Department has lost two of its officers to Line of Duty Deaths. They are Ptl. Walter Harris and Ptl. Billie Ellis. Each year we hold a wreath laying ceremony at their respective monument to remember their sacrifice and to show their surviving family members that the memory of their loved one is alive and well within us, as well as the respective families. The monuments to each officer are located in the courtyard of the Princeton Municipal building at 400 Witherspoon Street.
