Before the game, Thunder fans were encouraged to donate non-perishable food items. On hand to collect the donations was United Way of Greater Mercer County.
Sandra Toussaint says the core of United Way is strengthening families. Strike out Hunger is a way to bring a spotlight to the issue of hunger.
