Sciences Po, Princeton and the University of Oxford organized a conference entitled “Contested narratives of the global”. This conference is the first stage of a research project. This project, jointly conducted by Sciences Po, Princeton and the University of Oxford, will rethink the impact of Western globalisation, and will excavate the narratives that are told about how different regions, states and societies “fit into” the global.
