‪Tribute to Women 2010 Honoree: Debbie Schaeffer‬....YWCA Princeton, From March 2010
Debbie Schaeffer is president and one of four family member owners of Mrs. G TV & Appliances, an appliance and retail super store that has had an outstanding reputation in the area for 75 years. 

In 2000, the original Mrs. G, Beatrice Greenberg, recruited granddaughter Debbie to run the business. She uses her grandparents philosophy, taking care of the customer, having a huge selection of brands in the showroom, and keeping the long tradition of supporting the community and local charities. She not only donates appliances to worthy causes, but she also has spearheaded or participated in fundraising events for families of victims of 9/11, the American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity, the United Way, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Currently she sits on the board of Sustainable Lawrence, promoting green living through energy efficiency.

Last year, Mrs. Gs was selected by the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce as Outstanding Small Business of the year, and Debbie also won the 2009 Legacy Award from Women in Consumer Electronics and the 2009 Lawrence Township Growth & Redevelopment Committee Business Service Award.

A civil engineering graduate of the University of Michigan, Debbie began her career on a construction management team in NYC, then built homes in Florida and Ewing. She lives in Princeton and is the mother of twin daughters.
