www.lawrenceville.orgFilm by Elwood Taylor III '12...This short film is in dedication to John Shilts' great legacy as The Lawrenceville School's Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Coach. Beginning his career in 1988, and retiring as coach in the summer of 2012, "Doc" has managed to inspire dozens of athletes to pursue successful Track & Field careers at the collegiate level. Among his greatest achievements is coaching the Lawrenceville team to amass a streak of 86 consecutive dual meet wins. Personally, I would like to thank "Doc" for cultivating the skills necessary to succeed as an athlete as well as apply such themes as mental strength and determination to my everyday life. Thank you for passionately dedicating your life to ensuring the prosperity of your athletes & students.
