Formerly Undocumented, Long Island Heart Surgeon Hopes for Changes to Immigration Law When Harold Fernandez, a heart surgeon at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, hears stories about undocumented immigrant students on Long Island, he understands why those young people feel helpless.
