Video by Chasing News -- It's been labeled "the case that never dies," and more than 80 years after the kidnapping and murder of Charles Lindbergh's baby, modern investigative techniques shed new light on what could have happened.

In Part I, Chasing News examined the possibility Charles Lindbergh himself could have been involved in the kidnapping. In Part II, evidence of a potential conspiracy involving the Lindbergh's nursemaid, Betty Gow.

"To me, that would be who I look at right off the bat," said Gary Britton, a retired homicide detective. "You know, you're looking at not only that's the last person to have seen the baby, but there are a lot of questions."

Among them, how did the kidnapper know to pick the exact window where the baby was? What was the mysterious phone call Betty Gow received the night of the kidnapping? And why were the blankets in the baby's crib, which were secured with pins, neatly folded away?

All this takes the story to a find tucked away in the New Jersey State Police archives, a piece of key evidence that could prove a conspiracy and even point a finger toward Nazis.
